NCJRL gets national recognition

The National Center for Justice and the Rule of Law recently was honored by the National Association of Attorneys General for the center’s ongoing work with attorneys general in the area of cybercrime.

The year 2007 marked the centennial anniversary of NAAG, and the national group gave a handful of awards to organizations with whom they have a close working relationship.

“We’ve worked with NAAG for many years now training assistant attorneys general at Ole Miss,” said Tom Clancy, director of NCJRL. “We’ve had close to 20 conferences around the country and do a variety of other special projects with the attorneys general.”

The award, which was presented during NAAG’s annual summer meeting, reads: “Presented to the National Center for Justice and the Rule of Law at the University of Mississippi School of Law in recognition of your work as a leader in fighting cybercrime in cooperation with state Attorneys General.”
