What do I need to Zoom?

  1. A internet connected computer, laptop, smart phone, or other device
  2. Your Zoom invitation

How do I Zoom?

There are four ways to access Zoom:

  1. Website at zoom.us
  2. Zoom’s Desktop App (v 4.3) https://zoom.us/support/download
  3. Mobile App for Android and Apple
  4. Call in for audio (Only recommended if you don’t have sufficient data for live streaming.)

Make sure you download the application before your scheduled class time.

When do I Zoom?

You will receive an invitation for your Zoom class.  The invitation will contain a Zoom Meeting ID, a meeting link, and a dial-in number for audio only.  The easiest way to join your class, is simply clicking the link in the invitation at class time.

How do I make the best of the Zoom experience?

  1. Mute your microphone;
  2. Always enter your full name when prompted;
  3. Remember both your professors and fellow students will be able to see your image;
  4. The class may be recorded for future reference;
  5. Listen carefully for class specific instructions from your professor. For example, some professors may request that questions be submitted via the chat/Q&A function in Zoom.
