ExpressO Article Submissions

ExpressO is a service that allows you to quickly and electronically submit your article(s) for publication in law reviews around the country. Grisham Law Library provides a subscription for you to use this service during your time as a student at the University of Mississippi School of Law.

To use the service and submit your article for publication, take the following steps:

1. Go to the ExpressO home page.

2. Click on "My Account."

3. Click on "Create new account."

Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective

Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective is available through Lexis and Westlaw and separately through Ebsco host. This retrospective database indexes legal periodicals published in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand dating back to 1908. Annual surveys of the laws of jurisdiction, annual surveys of the federal courts, yearbooks, annual institutes and annual reviews of the work in a given field or a given topic are also covered. It includes citations from over 500 journals, and over half a million records.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar provides free full-text access to thousands of law review articles. It includes access to the HeinOnline law review collection. Note that coverage information is not available, so you can’t tell which years are included or omitted for a particular journal. The advanced search screen offers additional useful options.
