LegalTrac
LegalTrac Search Alerts allow you to create email alerts / RSS feeds alerts for the serches run in LegalTrac. Email alerts can be sent daily, weekly or monthly.
After running a search in LegalTrac, create an alert by clicking on "Create Search Alert" link under the Tools menu in the sidebar on the right side of the page. This will open a new window for you to select the frequency of the alerts, the format, and the ability to subscribe to the RSS feed. Search LegalTrac here |

Lexis Eclipse
ECLIPSE is a search you save to run automatically at user specified intervals. Users can also specify the way they receive their results.
1. Choose a database. 2. Run a “Terms and Connectors” search. ECLIPSE searches cannot be created for Natural Language searches. 3. When you have the results you want, click the “Save As ECLIPSE” link on the top of the screen. 4. Name your search. 5. Choose the update frequency. 6. Choose the way your results are delivered: online only (you access the results when you sign on to Lexis), printer (results, cite only or full text, sent to faculty support printer directly), email (results, cite only or full text, sent to your email) 7. You can choose to be notified by email when new results are available.

CCH Tracker Newsletters
To access the CCH Tax Research Network database, users will first have to sign on with their University of Mississippi WebID Login (For more WebID information, please visit UM Online Services).
Users will then need to create a username and password to access the CCH Tax Research Network database. If you need further assistance, please contact the Service Desk at (662) 915-6812.
Once a username and password have been created, log-in here. On the bottom right of the screen, under Downloads, click on "Sign up for Free Email Newsletters." Scroll down to the "CCH Journals and Newsletters" box and click Sign Up Now for Email Alerts |

Social Science Research Network (SSRN)
Users can receive email alerts when new papers are distributed in the networks, as well as going to the SSRN website and downloading abstracts and papers. CILP (Current Index to Legal Periodicals) / Smart CILP
(CILP) provides timely topical access to approximately 500 law school reviews and other selected legal journals under 100 subject headings. It is not an email alerting service, but a web service that updates weekly, and displays Tables of Contents for issues received by the University of Washington Law Library that week.
You can view CILP in HTML, MS Word or pdf format. The HTML version places a Lexis and Westlaw link next to each article citation (you will be prompted for your password), so you can easily view the article. CILP has an email alerting component, called SmartCilp (see below).
Smart CILP Smart CILP is the weekly email service of CILP (see above). Students and faculty can create a profile based on three criteria:
1. Topic Headings 2. Subject Headings 3. Journal Titles

WestClip
Westclip is Westlaw's alerting service for law reviews, cases, legislation, news, etc. Any search of its databases can be saved and searched for future research sessions. Click here to learn how to use WestClip and here for a .pdf of more information.
