Computer Lab Information
The library has twenty-six computers divided between two computer labs,
one on the main floor and one on the bottom floor. Using the computers,
students can perform research using several on-line databases
and the Internet as well as create course outlines and papers.
Each computer has a sound card and headset jack. For sanitary reasons,
we ask users to provide their own headsets. Headsets that work with portable
radios will also work with these computers.
Access
The computer labs are open during all the hours the Law Library is open.
Classes scheduled in the labs have priority over all other uses. Use of
the computers in the labs to access the Internet or other university computing
resources is governed by the IT appropriate use policy.
Printing
The library has two networked laser printers for students to use. The
cost is 12 cents per page.
Software Available
Each machine is configured with Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and current
applications, including:
- Corel WordPerfect Suite 2002(WordPerfect, and Quattro Pro)
- Microsoft Office 2002 (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint, etc.)
- Internet Explorer 6.0
- Netscape Navigator 4.78
- CALI Computer Assisted Legal Instruction
- Telnet and FTP software
