B.A. 1986, Vanderbilt University; J.D. 1991, University of Alabama; M.L.Lib. 1992, University of Washington. Professor Gilliland joined the faculty in July 2000. In addition to her administrative duties, she teaches Advanced Legal Research and directs the research component of the first-year Legal Research and Writing program. Prior to her arrival at Ole Miss, Ms. Gilliland served as Associate Law Librarian for Public Services at the Georgetown University Law Center and as Head of Reference and Reference Librarian at the Columbia University Law Library. She also taught seminars in Advanced Legal Research at Columbia, Georgetown, and the Fordham School of Law.
