From the Lamar Order’s inception in 1980, our alumni and friends have been passionate supporters of this important organization. More than one out of every eight of our 7,157 living law graduates have supported the School of Law through Lamar Order membership contributions. As of September 30, 2009, membership includes 698 fulfilled membership commitments (including deceased members), 285 members currently fulfilling their commitments and 70 fulfilled affiliate memberships (these members are eligible for full Lamar Order membership through an additional commitment). Support through the Lamar Order provides critical resources that enhance the legal education we provide, and we express our sincere gratitude to our Lamar Order members
